1, 2, 3, round III

This is the first old stuff Monday this year.

In eighth grade my best friend convinced me that everyone had to have an amulet, after her grandpa brought a necklace with a large pendant from a trip to Austria and she decided it was her amulet. So after an exhausting search I found this white heart in a Chinese shop (back when those were still exotic) and I was satisfied with its amuletty qualities. Later my sister wanted one and she got the blue heart. I'm not sure about the third one, maybe mum needed one, too. I found them in my parent's house last weekend and thought I could use them for a DIY project.

These bangles I bought five or six years ago at the flea market for about half a euro. I always have them with me. One of these little panels on the big one fell out when I hit the pole that wasn't there before  I have no idea how and when. Actually I heard when it hit the ground but only later did I realize the source of the sound. So I went back and tried to find it but it wasn't there. It's not really, really obvious that it's missing but I know and it hurts...

Also while visiting my parents I lost my favourite Labello. Then my dad came to rescue offering the very old type of lip balm that we have in Serbia that I forgot even existed and that he actually used (I know, fathers, right?). He had one extra container and it was so cute, all pink and with strawberries and actually very good. The day was saved!

Weekend Fun

After the cruelty that is a work week (and I do not use the word cruel easily) the bed is my sanctuary. I live and work in a big city and this week I felt as if I were lost in the North Pole.
Ok, fine, I was the one doing the rain dance to get the snow, and now I'm all cranky about it. But I wanted a snow ball fight and sleighing and ice skating. But it's already dark before I get home from work and similar excuses in reality I hate freezing to death...
Anyway, now I can spend the two lovely S days in bed and share my web finds.

* For example the making of this dress. And you know what? Not that I wouldn't like trying the dress on, but most of all I'd like to stick a pin in it. I would like to be one of these ladies running around it, seeing it in the making from the very beginning. I bet it's the most beautiful view from their angle.
* And wouldn't this be just the perfect hair with it? Or without it. It's weekend anyway, PJs are Couture...

And I love reading horoscopes for the year (daily horoscope is not fun at all, on the other hand). Especially ones like this, in the Russh Magazine, because they say my sign should have all this stuff in the picture (they don't really say that). According to my horoscope this is going to be a great year for the Aries, so I say let's trust them and make it happen. What is your sign? Do you like how they see it?

Cat Ears

So, it was finally snowing for a while yesterday, hence the exclusive view of our balcony. I made this cat hat, inspired by this post on pretty.little.world. I decided to wear it when I'm going to the bank or any other similarly serious place, since I'm getting extremely annoyed that many people think that I'm about 15 and a half years old. This is my weird way of trying to be taken seriously (I know I am doing it wrong). I'm sure though that I'll be very happy about that when I am 78 and that I'm going to bore people with that story old lady style.

This will do

Since I've found this video a few weeks ago I've been watching it almost every day, dreaming. True, I like summer and sea better. But if someone said I could live on Faroe Islands I'd say let's go. Living the most beautiful winter, knitting on an island somewhere between Iceland and Scotland...

A skirt and a... winter?

If you live around here you'll agree with me that we are confused. Santa came and left, there was Christmas, New Year and all that, but shouldn't it be winter now?... Mmmmm, not so much. Well, I decorated, prepared my winter boots, I even made some resolutions (and managed to get the *loose the holiday weight* and *drink 8 glasses of water* in the first week by getting sick, completely losing appetite and living on soup, tea and water for a few days). And yes, I kind of have no idea where I am going with this post. These pictures- it was Decembar and I was in my summery skirt and spring jacket and I have no idea how to feel about that. I mean, it's fine dressing wise but how long I can go without a snowflake, that's a million *type in desired currency* question.

P.S. *GIVEAWAY* unfortunately, for the Balkan readers only.
